1) Reviews done without having watched all the episodes (according to anidb's episode number, and this only applies if it is different from 0, in witch case they would be automatically put in ) goes in the "Impressions" section.
As emphasized by Skywalka, it is impossible to sort out the "watched all episodes"-problem.
That's one reason why I suggested the (user-controlled) checkbox. It could initially be set or unset by looking at the (p)reviewer's mylist, but it can still be corrected by the user.
Gambit wrote:It would make more sense to have a 'Preview' field beside the 'Reviews'. That way people could give a preview of the series after watching a few episodes. That will be useful for new, ongoing series, while the Reviews will be used for people who want to voice their opinion after having seen the entire series.
I think it's not unlikely that a "review" can derive from what previous was a "preview" just by refining the different aspects and taking the ending into account. Such a review would make the preview it's based on obsolete, so these two are closely connected.
That's the other reason why I suggested using a simple checkbox to distinguish them. That way, the previewer wouldn't have to copy/paste and delete the own preview.

Agreed for the personal list - although I think it may be better to put reviews and previews on different pages.
Lion wrote:3) It is not possible to vote for the impressions (there is no meaning in doing this, because they are only impressions that could change in the future, bringing a very good or very lame review).
I think one could start without allowing to rate them.
However, if the same problems arise as for actual reviews (too many bad reviews more visible than the good ones), a rating for previews might have to be used aswell.

The recap, "ep32a", is missing... I'll go fix it ^^

, nothing more, nothing less. It's like asking for a switch to prevent morons from posting

I really believe the reviewers could properly handle this on their own without any "categorization from above".
Of course, it may become neccessary to have dedicated review-mods (e.g. to help anidb-newbies)... one day - but why right now?
