Lately i requested a edit to:
http://anidb.ath.cx/perl-bin/animedb.pl ... 69&nonav=1
I expected to get a file with 2 audio tracks, the original japanese and an english track. What i got was a single audio track contaning both japanese and english spoken language. (Btw, it is very good compilation) Technically seen i agree that this is a dual language dub so i revoked the request.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to differentiate between a title with an audio track contaning more then 1 language and a title with more then 1 audio track.
While i'm at it: That means a more sophisticated way to document the streams in an avi/ogm/mkv/... and thus also the possibility to differentiate between hard and soft subs.
I'm aware that i'm asking very very much.
differentation between streams (audio and subs) [OLD REQ]

To quote the Requests summary:
... is on todo, but probably not very high priority.
Re: differentation between streams (audio and subs)
I'm sorry ... I don't quite follow you.... you mean you can hear japanese and english being spoken at the same time?iconized wrote:I expected to get a file with 2 audio tracks, the original japanese and an english track. I don't have the zx release but from reading their nfo (http://zhentarim.net/zx/shownfo.php?nfo ... ampire.nfo) it would seem to me that the Anidb info is correct... is it not?
It's been ages since I watched Blood, so I may be wrong (and I don't feel like checking, cause I'm tired and lazy), but as I recall it takes place on an american military base/school type place, but some of the main characters are japanese, hence there are two spoken languages.
The version I have is also like this (and it's not the zx version...it's something else), so I think it's supposed to be like that.
Apart from the "I copy!" in Planetes, this is the only anime I've seen that has so much English dialogue.
