It would be nice if there is Studio categorization .In case that I like an anime from a certain studio I want to see other animes that studio has produced. there is no option in AniDB :( .

Nice Idea. I second this. Why choose Anime by groups when the most significant connection is by the production studio?

I guess on top of this you could add linking Anime by their producers but that would require that information :-)

Maybe "cast and crew" fields can be added some day like on animenfo. It's always good to know who did what and it is a very common process to select movies and series by the people who produced them.

I believe EXP once said that he wasn`t intending to make AniDB an animenfo-clone. For info about seiyuu and such, animenfo is already good enough. No use doing the same thing twice, especially with a website which has already so much information about them that it`s nearly useless to start it all from scratch.

I brought this topic up once in the past. Stick with animeNFO if you want to browse studios, for the reasons Gambit mentioned before.

However if you know what studio you're looking for, the database adv. search tool has a field to search for studios.

He might have changed his mind though.

Lately, AnimeNfo has some trouble keeping up with especially the newer animes, though.
Unless the info would be needed in AniDB itself (for whichever function), the easiest "solution" to at least have the info accessible to users would be ANN-links on the animes' pages, IMO.
