"Avoid" genres [DENIED]

How about some checkboxes for all the genres in the profile section.
So that if you check "yaoi" for instance, those animes gets hidden when you are browsing the anidb.
Kinda like the hentai checkbox, but for all genres.
I would only use it for yaoi myself, but i'm sure there are people who would like to "avoid" 'kids' animes for instance.

I'd just like a 'NOT' checkbox in advanced search, so you can filter out genres as well as have them required.

DENIED,

currently, implementing this would clearly kill the server.
genres are stored in a seperate table, independent from the anime titles, checking the genres table for each anime to decide if it should be hidden or not would be too much overhead.
especially since the animelist and anime pages are the two most frequented pages on anidb.

however, this could be implemented on an anime basis, so the animes in question would not be hidden, but once you click on them you get a hentai-disclaimer-style warning.
but i don't see any good uses for that.

Does what you've said go for the search function as well exp? Just not displaying an anime if it has 'mecha' listed as one of the genres wouldn't make that much difference?
