Delete FIDs with bad CRC and >=1 users [DENIED]
The check could be performed once a day. FIDs that are older than 14/28 or whatever days which have a bad crc and only 1 or 0 users would be deleted
With now around 20000 users I think it is safe to say that the propability of a file beeing of any user afer let's say 28 days with only one or less users AND a bad crc is close to zero if not negative.
I think entries like this just produce server load / the time it takes to display all files of a given anime.

Certain files without users can still be useful, because many people don't use AniDB to keep track of their files, but they do share them.
I added some spanish files that I'm not sharing, but they had lots of sources. Those files started with 0 sources, and they stood that way for a long time, but now some of them have users. If you had deleted them, any spanish user who prefers spanish subtitles wouldn't have found the links.
Lack of content leads to lack of interest.

I disagree. For example, right now I'm only one user for this file, but there is other sources for it in ed2k and I've never seen correct file so why remove this one, at least until there's correct file?
There's another thing to think about. Right now if file have "Bad CRC", someone who latter add his own files can see it. If you just delete entry, there's big chance that next user with this file just add this file back without checking good/bad CRC at all.

I totally agree. With the new view option my request becomes obsolete and in fact for now and I guess for some time in the future it is good to keep adding stuff to the DB as long as this is no problem performance- transfer- and storage-wise.
We don't have to implement something that is pretty much "board-nazi" like to AniDB ^_^
