but here it goes. Since some files by groups have multiple episodes in them, i.e. Mini Goddess, Guardian Hearts, Ebichu, 2 ep specials in long animes like HNG and Naruto, (blah the list keeps going on and on), is there a way there a way to have anidb count files as eps 1-2, 1-5, etc? I'm pretty sure this is really troublesome, but it would be great if something like this could be implemented. It would solve many problems because many anime titles have this problem and people are entering files different ways. For instance, a user thinks ep 1 should be named episodes 1-2, thus adding the file containing eps 1-2 on ep 1, then the user creates the next episode naming it 3-4, and then adding the file containing eps 3-4, etc. The problem arrives when a group or whatever starts making rips of just single episodes, instead of combining eps 1-2 in one file. People just wouldn't know what to do. I could keep rambling on, but I hope I made my point
This problem could end up making the db quite chaotic, not to mention the confusion. On a side note, if something like this was implemented, the sorting of your mylist would be more accurate, because I have many anime titles that are complete, but are counted as incomplete because the file/episode thing doesn't match.
