that's true, but it would take some time to generate all those images, even if it's done only once a day.

I thought of it like this: do the first generation for an image, the first time it is requested. Then rereder only if the next request is at least 24h later, otherwise send the prerendered one. That way the load would spread, as it is very unlikely that all users will request an image at the same time.

and the generated traffic could easily become quite a large amount. Just think about 100-1000 anidb users posting in a couple of heavily used forums.

This could really become a problem.

EXP, Is there a way to possible make it so that it gives a message when the database is being updated? (Just to make sure the script dosnt want to update when the site is being updated)
