[CGI] mylist shows empty anime but (un)viewed anime [FIXED]

Post by alaureijs »

I have Anime on MyList that have no episodes. All episodes in the Anime are marked (un)viewed but expansion of the anime shows no episodes.

You can have a look at user 3615 and the anime is Slayers.

Kind of confusing.

It does that for all your Slayers series...

Try clicking on the name of the series instead of the +, do you see the correct state beside the episodes' names ? If you expand those, do you see the state beside the file ?

the state of the episodes is correct: not in MyList... not one single episode...

Could be a caching bug. Wait two hours until the AniDB has rebuilt the mylist cache and if the bug is still there and the files don't show up in your mylist, post again.

Ouch.

Did you try removing the missing files from your mylist by using the links in the anime page?

Yep I did... Used the 'remove all' feature many times already and there are no eps to select for removal anymore. The AniDB-client does not show Slayers after update, only the website.

You were talking about cache... Could it be that the cache is polluted?

That's not what I mean...

Go to the anime page for Slayers:
http://anidb.ath.cx/perl-bin/animedb.pl ... xpandall=1

Scroll through the list of episodes and files. If a file is reported to be in your mylist, click the Image icon to remove it. Doing it through this page rather then the mylist's "remove all" could help to fix the cache and your mylist.

Hmmm.... no eps with that icon you mentioned...
tried adding ALL episodes manually and then deleting ALL using remove all after selecting all...Adding did increase the counter to 52/26 but after removing the counter was back to 26/26...

AND BAD NEWS.... and I apologise for being such an ars with applications: Now the lot of them have -1 deleted episodes...

the faulty counters are automatically fixed at each cache update.
that means your -1 problem should fix itself in less that 24h.

however the prob with your mylist persists, i'll look into that.

i found and fixed a random feature in the cache regeneration code.
your mylist entries should be fixed now.

however the random feature which caused this problem (cache invalidation) is still around. dunno if i'll ever fix it :P
