Genre definition.

Hello there.

I surf the anidb.info page alot, searching for new anime series to watch
(drools and goes numb),....anyhow...

There are still a few "genres" I do not understand.. and Im sure there are
others like me.

so a great feature would be a explanation on the "genre" you've choosen.

like Shounen or Dementia. Somehow I seem to find alot of men on men
action while searching on Shounen, which I originally thought was "youth"
or "teenage".. haha was I mistaken or what ...

but ye,a lil explanation when holding the pointer above the selected name
or a "lexicon" link, to discribe different words. Would be even better.

Anyhow, the site is really great and I luv it there . I even correct titles
when they been wrong written..yes..I am an addict...

Would be cool if you thought bout it, cos it would benefit not only the users
but the website aswell .

The genres are obsolete now (although categories aren't really ready to take their place just yet), and such a feature could be trivially implemented for categories, and has been discussed.

Actually writing proper descriptions is another matter (as is pruning and reorganising the tree), but we'll get to that.

(That said, there is an explanation of the genres, uh... here; it hasn't been added to the wiki for some reason.)
