Storage Status thorugh IRC interface [DONE]

Post by cerithy »

I'm thinking it would be good to include storage status when adding files throught the irc interface like you can do watched status [w].

And perhaps you should be able to change a file status without first removing it, like when you burn files...

ohh, and more features... spanning several episodes in a serie from a sertain group to add them all... but now I'm thinking out loud...

one more thing, I'm liking this feature since I need somewhere to store the status of the series I'm watching, but in my lists i have statues like "disconntinued" for marking a series I've started to watch but quit (because I have bad memory its needed) and I'm thinking deleted should be better visible in the mylist...

Just my wishes :)

Just checked the mylist again, it was rather the disconntinued thingie I would like to be shown with the series... perhaps other possible states to for the serie (as there is watched, storage status for files).

For that 'change a file status without removing it', you can change the filestatus in the MyList.

I second that irc-request for adding 'storage status', although you probably bash me again for it, since you said that "If you burn something, you do that in pairs. Better go to the website, click 3 checkboxes, then press 'on cd'."
but still, it wouldn`t be bad to have it in irc as well ;)

I think a 'discontinued' or 'dropped' indicator would be useful too. That way you can see that you decided not to collect that series anymore, even if you have seen/burned some of it already (which causes them to be forever in the MyList).

Well I'm mostly intrested in the irc interface (I meant changing thought irc) since its (most oftenly) faster (for me) and it can be scripted... :)

Adding files one by one throught the web is time consuming especially if your downloading shit like crazy :)

Oh, it works for me. ^^

Just copy the ed2k links for finished files from eMule, paste them into the ed2k dump, adjust the status to "on hdd" and done.

please note that chii is not ment to be used for automated usage by scripts or programs.
a few requests now and then are no problem, however you should NOT try to use chii as ed2kdump replacement.
make sure you don't flood her! and think about other users too.

with that said, the changing of storage status for files via irc is ontodo.

about the discontinued status stuff.
if you mark all files as deleted the series will go into a deleted state which is now displayed directly beside the anime title in mylist.
i think that should take care of this.
and if you have already burned some files, well you can still mark them as deleted.
