How can it matches official CRC when it is unknown ?

First of all, what is “official CRC” ?

Second, about this file:

How can it matches official CRC when:
1) The file is incomplete ?
2) The file has no known subber ?

Now if there was a general consesus as for what's valid: why not. ^^;

Maybe something along the lines of

Any of the following sources makes a file qualify for "CRC valid":
CRC from the group's IRC-topic or homepage

CRC from the filename or an sfv file, if it's directly from the group

CRC from pages like envirosphere.com, as long as they're not older than 2002

Calculated CRC if the file matches another official hash (e.g. md5) provided by the group. This also applies for files that match the official hashset of a torrent

... but the parts in red need discussion.
