Chii: Sort !mylist-output by group [DONE]

Post by wahaha »

Instead of the !mylist anime output "in mylist: a-b c-d", it might be useful to have the list sorted by groups like this:
"in mylist: (ANBU) 1-5 7 (AonE) 6 (unknown) 8"

But well, "might be useful" is true for people who prefer not mixing the groups. For others, the output might be rendered useless ("in mylist: (A) 1 3 5 7 9 ... (B) 2 4 6 8 10 ..."), so adding it as an (IRC-)option would be the best solution.

Comments, flames, tomatoes?

*done*

new format is:

Code: Select all

MYLIST: <anime> (<aid>) - <epcount> eps: in mylist: <eprange(s)>  watched: <eprange(s)>  groups: (<groupshorttitle>) <eprange(s)>{ , (<groupshorttitle>) <eprange(s)>}
i.e.

Code: Select all

MYLIST: Chobits (12) - 26 eps: in mylist: 1-26  watched: 1-26  groups: (Soldats) 1 , (A-Fury&ani-net) 18-26 , (Etheria) 5-7 10-14 , (Anime-Keep) 9 , (AK&AH) 2-4 8 , (AJ) 15-17

Tried it, liked it.
Thought about a status addition, but
MYLIST: Chobits (12) - 26 eps: in mylist: 1-26 watched: 1-26 groups: (Soldats) 1(on cd) , (A-Fury&ani-net) 18-26 , (Etheria) 5-7 10-14 , (Anime-Keep) 9 , (AK&AH) 2(deleted)-4 8 , (AJ) 15-17
would make it too confused.
It`s not a request, just an idea which looks like it`s not useful. So in order to prevent other requests for this, I already explained myself whyit can`t be done :)

kk,

as you suspect, such a request would have been denied :P
