Latest Files / Latest Addition by date [closed]

It would be nice to be able to choose list not by last 10,20,50,100, but by date last n days, after certain date, ... .

For example, I would like to se last 3 days, but in the last day there was more than 100 new additions, so I can only see one day.

hm,

the prob there is that listing i.e. all files added in the last 3 or 7 days might well give you a listing of 100+ or even 1000+ files.
and i don't know if that would be usefull.

What about adding "Uploaded after" = (date) to "Advance Search". That would be just fine.

hm,

advanced search lists animes only, not files.
last updated/last file added on anime level would be kinda ugly to implement but i guess it could be done.
but would it be usefull?

Well I tough a little about It being useful, and I must say I found only one use. If someone searched complete database and She or He didn't find anything interesting, well the solution is to wait for new uploads. Since new uploads arrive every day, it is hard to look at »latest« list every day (sometime The One can miss the day).

I agree It would be ugly (maybe hard) to implement date search in anime database, so let's return back to »latest files« section. If the amount is problem, then why not make possibility to chose one day (any day) in past, up to hundred files of course. If there were more than hundred files in one day, so be it.

I posted this as a new thread, but then noticed this one, and moved my post here, as it is similar to what original poster meant.

Would it be possible to add a date of modification for anime title in animelist? What I'm asking for is a column in animelist called Last Modified, showing when the latest record was added.

As of 2003.05.18 anime Foo episode 17 was added.
Last Modified: 2003.05.20

On 2003.05.19 groupd Bar releases ep 01, and it is added to animelist.
Last Modified: 2003.05.19

On 2003.05.21 'Foo ep 18' is added.
Last modified: 2003.05.21

Ability to sort animelist by Last Modified would also be nice.

this would require some major changes.
it's not ON TODO atm, but i'll think about it.
