CDs 1 & 2 have same filename [CLOSED]

Post by shaydwyrm »

This may be an issue for other movies as well, but for Spirited Away, all of the 2 disc sets that were added as the same episode have the same filename. For example, the two CDs for the DVL rip, FIDs 2937 and 2938, have the same filename - when I downloaded them separately I couldn't tell which CD was which. Even worse, I almost overwrote one when I moved them into the same directory.

this is a known problem and we're working on a better solution.
however for now ppl should add max. one file per episode per group
for movies.
this means that if group A and B released a one cd version and
group C and D a 2cd version and group E a 3cd version it should
look like this:

1 movie 1cd version
- file of group A
- file of group B

2 movie 2cd version - 1 of 2
- file of group C (cd1)
- file of group D (cd1)

3 movie 2cd version - 2 of 2
- file of group C (cd2)
- file of group D (cd2)

4 movie 3cd version - 1 of 3
- file of group E (cd1)

4 movie 3cd version - 2 of 3
- file of group E (cd2)

4 movie 3cd version - 3 of 3
- file of group E (cd3)

In that case, might I ask that someone with edit permission try and sort out the mess in Spirited Away?
