Subbing status "stalled" even after the last ep.

Post by edg »

I must have not understood something, because I don't understand this:

Azumanga Daioh http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?s ... me&aid=106

New Life Anime & Ishin-Digital & Anime-Fansubs 26 stalled

There are only 26 episodes, but the status is stalled. The status should be set "completed" automatically after the last episode, or not?

There is no file for them for episode #2. Therefore it will show as stalled because not every episode was subbed. Note it has to be the EXACT compination of groups, the NLA - Ishin files don't count.

Well, it's clear that neither NLA- Ishin nor The Triad will finish it, as it's been licensed for quite some time. So I guess it needs to be changed to dropped, right (if you don't want "complete")?

I don't think it should be marked dropped by neither NLA-Ishin nor Triad. Ideally, the two entries for them wouldn't be shown as stalled anyway, but rather as "(combined) complete", so IMO "dropped" would be an ugly workaround.

This would be handled by: Group Status for an Anime
