Stats - Rating - Adv. Search [closed]

Post by Phoebus »

Ok first of all this is my first post and I just wanna say that AniDB is A W E S O M E!

Ok now to my request :P

In animelist you can see the top 1500 rated animes, right? You just sort them descending.

But what about after you do an adv. search? Eg. I want to see a list of every action anime in the AniDB, I select Action and then press enter and I see the list... but I can't sort them by rating... actually I can't sort them in any way. Is there a way to make that work?

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!

If you go to genre instead of advanced search you can sort. That takes care of your issue.

I would like to see sorting in Advanced search though... Also Hide Animes I have would be nice too.

Yeah, that's right, but what if you just want to see a primary sort, say rating, and a secondary sort for year of release... say 2003...? If you sort again the primary list will be lost :(

IMHO Adv. search needs a more sophisticated sorting function, so does animelist and all the others...

eg. in animelist, i'd be great if you could click the year descending sort, and then the rating descending sort so as to see the newest animes with the highest rating... that'd be great to be applicable in any Adv. search...

Well, that's it :)

Keep it up!
