English titles

Post by brd529 »

I (whose japanese still needs some polishing) would like to have to option to use the english titles. Do we have a tag for this? Or could we?

Thanks

You mean for animes?
You have an option in your profile settings for that.

No, thats not exactly what I meant. I believe you mean the web interface, but I was thinking of the client. I should have made that clear...

In my thinking the file renaming of the client could use a tag for "official title (english)" like the one in the profile configuration. I would very much like to use that one with the file renaming as the anime title. I believe the tag that is provided here (%a) refers to the japanese name.

No, my mistake... not yours. Don't know how I ended in this section so I answered thinking it was the web. :?

I don't use the client... sorry!

Soon I hope. I just came here to complain that all my Ghost in the Shell files now are named "Koukaku Kidoutai S.A.C. 2nd GIG"

I'd like to see this too, maybe it'll be in the next version (hint hint).

All my lovely organised anime means nothing to me now it's in Japanese. I have to re-learn all the names of the animes! :(

Still, making a renaming script to replace the Japanese with english isn't such a problem...
