Hi,
I noticed the image file names aom stores are not the same as on anidb. Anidb stores the pictures autoincrement imo, and aom stores the pictures according to anime-id.
I was planning to download all the pictures, so I could view them offline, when at school (on my laptop) or when I don't have internet at location. I don't know if there will be a feature in the future like ppl can download all the pictures in an archive from anidb.
I don't know if the aom database has a link field to the image like anidb does (I think it doesn't). Maybe it could be handy in the future.
Summary:
Would it be possible to keep the same image names as on anidb?
Just let me know what you think about it,
SPF
[REQ] Image File Names
I'm sorry, due to how AniDB can use links to offsite images and those filenames might conflict with local filenames this won't happen.
Later however there will be an xml file in the images folder with the original path of all images. If you can parse this then I guess it's at least somewhat closer to what you want.

I am also Interested in any way of using the AniDB images in AOM too!Well, I already know of a way to get the right pics
Some kind of script to convert the filenames would be great!guess im too lame to write a script
Well, that makes us two!I just hoped there where more ppl who would be interested in this.
