Don't show in Anime Hint animes that you already have [DONE]

Post by Guest »

I think that in the anime hint shouldn't be showed animes that you have already in your mylist, but not yet seen.
Anime hint should suggest what it's probably you'll like to watch next, but if you already have an anime, it is supposed that you have already the intention of watching it, and probably you took that thanks for the anime hint, too.

Yeah, an option similar to the "hide animes I have" in the search and anime list module would be nice.

I agree with Elberet, an option to hide animes that are already in one's mylist might be useful, although it might aswell be useful to only show those in one's mylist.
But I wouldn't like having any of these filters on by default.

Filter-suggestions (and the questions they'd answer):
  • All
("Which animes might I be interested in?")
  • In Mylist
("I want to watch something new, what should I give a try?")
  • Complete in Mylist
("I have some complete series/movies and want to watch the best of them - which one is it?")
  • Not in mylist
("Which animes might I be interested in getting?")

well,

currently it filters all animes for which you have voted or of which you've marked at least one file watched in your mylist.

Yeah, but wahaha`s suggestion is way more interesting. I like that idea very much, considering the Hint function is showing series in the first 30 positions I already have, but haven`t started yet :) It`s much more interesting to see what I have to collect instead.
