Anime Time [DENIED]
Just thought it would be a cool feature if it told you your total time of anime watched, 50hr 26m for example. Sorry if this has been suggested before.
Nice idea, however:
a lot of eisodes are not tagged with a time. These you would see in no time at all. Also, normally you skip through the opening tune and the closing tune. Th count then would be not entirely true.
Most of all: I would not like to know how many hours I spend on Anime!! Before you know it your (girl)friend will put You on a fixed quotum per month or he/she would calculate how much lovemaking he/she missed. (assuming he/she does not like Anime as much as we do)

I feel very lucky that my other / better half enjoys them just as much as I do. Except for the dent in my arm where she keeps prodding me asking where the next Naruto or GetBackers episodes areMost of all: I would not like to know how many hours I spend on Anime!! Not sure if I would be that interested, I know I've stopped watching TV completely for the last year and a half of watching, and I get a kick out of tracking my position against the other addicts for total MB watched, but time is less important. I figure that if I saw how much of my life had been spent watching some very cool stuff then I'd be less likely to want to watch more.
Anyhow - just my opinion, if the idea gets through then I'll likely look it up for reference, but as all of us skip through the credits after the first watch of them (with the exception of Ghost in the Shell in my case) then it's not likely to be that realistic a figure.
ahh, now you've done it!Elberet wrote:How could you ever skip through the credits of Haibane Renmei? I just downloaded the OST and find myself being unable to stop listening to "Free Bird" (the opening melody).

about the feature request.
well it would be pretty simple to implement this, however i am one of those ppl who really don't want to see that number o_O
so i'll guess it will not be implemented for self preservation reasons
