Jack Sparrow Anime Inspiration

After watching Pirates, for some reason, I find his character similar to an anime character.

I'm thinking a character who's a leader of a group, who's goofy at times, but serious when the time is needed. I'm just can't place my finger on it...

Vash the Stampede from Trigun? XD he looks goofy all the time, but always manages to bring his enemies down all the time

Or maybe Kamina from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann...
Or Luffy of course XD he's even a pirate too
