AOM Development - do you need help?

Post by Nalim27 »

Hello,
I'm programmer and I want to help with AOM development - especially with mkv (matroska) parsing. It is possible?

Matroska part is already being done by epoximator, current limitation is I'm not having much free time.
You don't state which languages you know, aom is made in delphi.

Come on irc and talk to epoximator, is probably best. Petri just (?) needs to start using the dll thing the two of them have been cooking up, but if nothing else a code review on some of the mkv bits would not hurt.

Good news.
I'm something like universal programmer :-) (java, c, php, Pascal too) but I don't code in Delphi too much (only small project in historic Delphi version 2.0).

But I want to learn how today modern Delphi is. What version of Delphi you use?

Well maybe the other direction is also possible...

What I mean is the data transfer a secret or would you tell someone what is beeing transfered so that this one can write his own client.

Currently I have no time for such a thing but maybe others are interessted to bring up there own clients ^^.

Just an idea.
