help request
i have an avi dvd player some anime subs are out of sight and some animes have no sound. 50% are ok. but does anybody know how i encode the animes that the other 2 probs dont ocure?

VirtualDubMOD should be able to transcode allmost all files to a format your player supports. For details on transcoding check www.doom9.org

hi piroshiki,

in addition to kidan i also suggest that you install a codec pac which enables all the sorts of codecs you need for proper playback. Especially your sound problem sounds like a codec problem.

You will find most codecs at the link provided by kidan. You can also google for "DivX Total Pack Download". Last time I checked I didnt find the codec packs linked on Doom9 anymore.

BTW, do the problems occur on your regular monitor or on a TV-output?
