How to add a new group with short name already taken?

I'm trying to add "Anime Group Alicante", a spanish group whose short name is AGA, but that one is already taken by All Group Anime, how should I proceed in that case?

(I tried to add (spa), but () signs are not allowed).

I had this problem very often. What I did was to add it lowercase instead of uppercase:
