New genre: seinen [DENIED]

Because of the lack of a seinen (older analogue of shounen) genre, a lot of anime are being mistakenly classified as shounen... actually, that's pretty much all that can be said about this. The current situation is wrong and easy to fix, so is there any reason not to have a seinen genre?

I did look before posting, but it seems to have been lost in a long, windy thread, not even being mentioned until about 70 posts in.

I suppose the best way to advertise for any genre to be added is to give a short definition of it (to sort out misunderstandings) and to name some animes it should be added to (to prove the need for this genre).
