It seems that every review that I've pasted from Microsoft Word now has an  before every apostrophe, hyphen, quotation mark, or ellipsis. I'm sure other special characters now have this problem as well. A minor issue, but an annoyance all the same.
Word's fault, not the db. The characters it uses for those are not the standard ascii ones, but extras to do the tilting and stuff. Would need to use and html escape &(some number) to get those in the db.
Well, the odd thing is that AniDB used to accept things copied from word just fine, until this latest update. I can understand if accepting characters from word would be more trouble than it was worth, but I don't really understand why this was taken away if everything already worked fine. I'm probably missing something here, but I just thought I'd bring it up anyway.
