Genre search in list? [OLD REQ]

Post by lucky6442 »

I searched the site/forum and didn't see a answer to this..So I'm going to assume this feature doesn't exist yet and I apologize in advance if i missed it...

Are you able to search via genre, within your own list of animes? If not, could this be a possible addition?

Thanks

you mean like
http://anidb.ath.cx/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=search

but with an extra option to only show animes you have in mylist?

Yep, this is an old suggestion. It was formerly discussed as "Advanced Mylist Filters" or something like that. Key suggestions, as far as I remember:

- Filter by more then one filestate (i.e. show oncd || onhdd || mixed),
- Filter all but partially watched,
- Filter by genre,
- Apply filters to files, i.e. listing animes, episodes and files which are of state unknown, hide everything else (files that are !unknown, episodes with no unfiltered files, animes with no unfiltered episodes).

I'm pretty sure that this list is incomplete, tho.

AOM has most of these, but not genre.

Guess what, I'm using AOM myself. But AOM isn't available everywhere, while the CGI interface is. At least let exp decide himself whether he wants to bother implement a feauture that AOM already provides. -_-;

I guess it isn't possible, or is this being considered?
