Well since whatever happened now I can't view japanese fonts properly in my firefox browser.

I changed to default CSS to get it working again. I expect something wrong with CSS. Until you reset my haruhistyle css everything worked properly. But now with that style the top banner bar is a blank blue bar, news starts off the screen. The CSS seems to be completely broken by whatever changes you have implemented Now I'm back to the old ugly default style.

As you said, that's CSS-error, but with one catch. What browser are you running?

Firefox. But it's working correctly now. Seems whatever CSS error was happening has been fixed except that the news section is still messed up. The news starts all the way off the screen and I have to scroll down to it. Seems the news is now not fitting the Haruhi Style css now.

Try the following:
Firefox -> Tools -> options -> Advanced -> General -> (language section) Choose

Add Japanese languages there. There should be 1 or so.

if that doesn't work, reinstall the IME (if you're using Windows)
