How about mixing anime with permanent and temporary votes in a separate list (keep the current ones as is is fine). In that list, tmp anime titles would be put in italics.

Example:

.tmp .name
{
font-style: italic;
}
.tmp .vote
{
color: yellow;
}

Could be useful, as long as you choose a different color. My God, that yellow hurts my eyes!
Personally I don`t have a need for temp-votes, since I never use them anyway, except for hentai ...
