it would be nice if search function would be more inteligent as for exempel there wouldn't be any diference between strings "XXX" and " XXX" and "XXX " and " XXX "
because now if you copy paste and tghere is a "space" ta the end or at the begining of the string there is "no matches found" it's realy annoying
also then there are spaces between words in a string like "XXX YYY" isn't the same as "XXX YYY"
Well maybe im wrong about this but please look in to this

in fact this has been requested several times in the past.
but it's not a bug, it's a feature.
it allows you to search for word boundaries.
so don't expect to see any changes to the current behaviour in respect to spaces.
however, some ppl have suggested that a warning message and a ready to use link should be added to the result page if a leading/trailing space was part of the search query.
this is not yet ontodo though.
