Edit Notification Message Improvements? [DONE]

Well,

I wonder if this feature is too spammy atm.
What are your impessions?

Possible improvements:
a) do not notify if one self didn't manually add/edit the file entry (i.e. one is only listed bc one's aom added some hash data)
b) do not notify on creqs which only add data?
c) ...

a) sounds very useful and should IMO be enabled by default
A possible option c): Don't notify on changes for entries I didn't add

I'd be very interested in changes to what I added, but notifications for all entries I ever edited would be too much to handle ^^;

Yes, it's really spammy... and the fact I couldn't disable the pop-up notifications in my profile because of some weird bug it was never solved and that I have a pop-up stopper that makes a sound every time it filters one it's getting into my nerves.

I agree with wahaha as well.

About EXPs question: I am not really sure what you folks are talking about - is this admin-only? I never ever got a message that a file I added was changed nor did I ever get a message for a file I CREQed. Is this something I "edited"? Guess not. I would have had at least one notify with all those CREQs...

no it's not mod only.
however the option needs to be enabled in your profile settings and as this feature is pretty new you might simply not have recieved a notification so far.

I'm getting a lot of notifications, because I requested changes over a lot of animes (mostly updated images), so yes... this is getting really annoying. O_o

In your profile, there are two new "layout"-options, there you can disable it.

I understood your comment like this: "I can't see any option to disable the notifications on the anime-pages. I only see those for files/groups there."

Hence my hint at the profile, since that's what nwa meant when writing "just disable it then".

that was a mistake on my part.
those two options apply to all creq'able db entries, not just files as the current name seems to imply.
