Automatically remove ending spaces in the search box [DONE]

Post by ubo »

When you copy text from websites you often get an ending space (like "berserk "). If you search for "berserk " you won't get any hits because there is noe anime which is named berserk[space], however if you remove the space you'll find the anime you're looking for. What about making the search engine remove ending spaces automatically? (less work for lazy people in other words.)

Btw, how about doing both?

(Only) if there's no anime found with the full searchstring, remove the surrounding spaces and search again.

Man I thought about writing a small rant here but I'll digest it to a "I am for what wahaha said".

This "feature" has resulted in about one to ten empty results via the search feature for me in the past 13 months. Once I remove the trainling or leading space, I get results, every time. There are only 1 in 100 cases where the anime is acutally added under a totally different name.
