Sometimes I modify the files with VirtualDub before I burn them, usually to make them fit nicely on CD. The most common modification is cutting away the ending, and the opening too if necessary. I've also removed the english dub track from some .ogm's, fixed a pair of frozen frames and in a few occassions I even reencoded the audio from MP3 to WMA (won't do it again, as there's a loss of quality implied, although I don't notice the difference). It's not that CDRs are expensive, but I hate to waste space.
That's why I think it would be nice to have a new state, that would mean it's not available for resharing (just as deleted), but you still keep it (and the modified version could even be shared if needed).
New state: modified [DENIED]
