I think they mean the ones that have the most users. You can see the top ten on the main page, but not the other ones.

On the main page I see a list of 10 'Highest rated' (I suppose those get that AniDB top 10 banner), and a top 10 'most users'. I think that`s already enough info for the users since it won`t make sense to check how much more people grab entry #250 compared to #251.

It's useful as a guide for downloading... If one anime has many more users than another, then it will probably be easier to download. You can get an idea if you go down to the file level, but it would be nice to have it more readily available...

I think its very useful as egg already said. So I hope to get that feature sometime
