Making patches available for corrupted files? [DENIED]

Post by Lame in Heaven »

If verified files are listed and if there are other corrupted versions of these files, why not making a patch download system? Only if patches are small-sized...

Although you can't find it in the sticky, there already was a similar request: [REQ] File-patch-management [POSTPONED/ONTODO]
Some of the info in there is outdated - there now is a !remove-command and it shouldn't take that long till a (fully) useable AniDB-client is finished... so it may just be a matter of time - it "just" requires someone* who does it ;)

*) I don't mean EXP here - I guess he has enough work already ^^;

a patch system would be something an anidb client could implement.
it's not planned on the website/cgi level.
