Comments [DENIED]

Maybe we should add a 'comments' option in addition to the reviews. I often feel like I have a little something to say about a series, but I don't have enough to write a review. I think this would discourage short/incomplete reviews, while allowing everyone to get a word in.

Cons, of course, are that people might use it to chat/argue, and it might end up too cluttered to be useful. It also might take up too much space on the server. I don't know about these things, but it might be a useful feature.

That and wishlists. I want a wishlist.

That has already been discussed in length...

Public comments are a Bad Idea (tm) since they'd require to be moderated. With thousands of animes and a multitude of that in reviews, it'd be way too much work to be feasible.

Private feedback messages that are only visible to the reviewer work however, but the private messaging system has superceded the need to implement feedbacks into the reviews system. After all, a single click on a link below the review is enough to send a message to the reviewer.

zaufany, when you post links to pages in the forum, be sure to remove the "sid=..." part. Chances are that someone might be able to impersonate you if they get that session ID string...

i don't think we should include any feature which will get as "chatty/spammy" as comments on animes or reviews.
if you have a comment on the review, write a pm to the author.
discussions about an anime can be held on the anidb or ar forum.
