changing extension bug [FIXED]

Post by yidaki2 »

i changed the ext. on a file from .avi to .ssa, after i had added it to my mylist.
and when i displayed the anime, it said 0 people had that file, even though it was in my mylist.
so i removed it from my mylist, and checked the anime. then it said -1 people had that file.
so i added it to my mylist again, and it went back to 0.

i dont know if its a bug, but it sure sounds weird.

hm,

i don't think that this has something todo with the fileextension.
however the user number for a file is only a rough estimate as it is heavily cached. just wait a couple of hours and it should be accurate again.

It's probably not the extension but the editing process itself, which ends up re-setting the user count in the cache table to zero or losing the relation between the file and the cache. ;)

It's a small one that gets fixed automatically after a while, but it's a bug nonetheless. :P
