[cgi] glitch in voting [FIXED]

I just voted for umi ga kikoeru, but evaluation display didn't change.

revoked vote -> no change
recasted vote -> no change

seems a bug came in while creating the MyPlace-section.

well today the vote was counted. so I tried this:

I revoked it -> rating changed and votecount decreased

then I voted again -> no change in display

so either the server did not refresh the page but will do it in some time, or the old page was cached by the server. this behaviour did not occur in the last version. Now after a few refreshes the vote is taken into calculation and count.

So there seems to be no bug, but a delay, which can be quite cofusing, if you think of this scenario:

NewbieA votes for AnimeX he is one of the first voters and expects the rating to change, but nothing happens, so he is confused and might nag you techs with some bugreport like I did.

So if the delay is by design, please add a warning saying, that it may/will take some minutes till the vote is counted.

actually i don't know atm if that is supposed to be this way.

well,

actually this was neither of both.
if you refreshed the page for the anime once your vote was correctly shown.
I changed this a bit now. from now on your vote will always be shown instantly.
