I would like to move genres from Characters::People::Mystical People into Characters::Mystical Creatures. Now they both are too similar for me - i dont see sharp difference between them. Why demon is creature and angel isn't? Why shinigami - spirits of death are in different collections than other spirits? All of Mystical People are not humans, so i think they can be moved to creatures without problems.

agreed. as they are mystical there is no rule that they have appear in human shape. could also be a dark bloob being an angel or whatever.

moved those 4 categories over and removed Character::People::Mystical People

question is is deities a subsection of mystical creatures?!
Characters::Mystical Creatures::Deities ?!

maybe even change the name of mystical creatures into Mystical Characters or something else?!

Goddesses first was a subsection of mystical people, so I guess deities should fall under mystical creatures, now all of the mystical people categories have been moved.

Shouldn't there maybe be a category for anime based on games? Something like Genre::Game

Examples: Tales of Phantasia, Final Fantasy 7, Tales of Eternia.

anyway makes more sense now ^^

:/ dunno. I'm rather against something like that as it doesn't say anything about the content of the anime. i mean has it any significance if the anime is based upon a game?! yes it's some info which should/could get added somewhere. but i'm not sure if that place should be the categories :/

following categories might need a different name

Genre::Action::Shootout
Genre::Drama::Romance::Sudden girlfriend appearance

just to collect that info from the past few posts.

Maybe you're about that. A comment in the description might do the trick for such things.

But maybe there are people who would like to know if their there is an anime based on a game. That's actually why I suggested this.

yeah i understand that. my main concern is listing it as a genre feels somehow wrong. dunno a better place though :/

Mystical Characters is better I think because it's both creatures and people.
For Shootout maybe you can say Guns?
For Sudden Girlblablabla maybe you can say Lucky Guy?

Anyway, that Source:: category sounds like a good idea. I don't see why it hasn't been added yet. <g>

...oh, and I noticed that someone has added Characters::Animals::Mice and Characters::Animals::Wolfs. Er... Is there actually any anime about mice? Eh, regardless, I just wanted to point out that the plural of wolf is wolves, not wolfs...

There is an anime that's called MOUSE. But I don't think it's about mice.

i was just playing silly when i added that. only anime with a mouse i could name right now is

anyway removed it again.

uh and corrected wolves :oops:
