They are only a part of someones body. Maybe add then also heads, tails, arms, legs, eyes ...

And maybe Mythical creatures will be more accurate description then Mystical.

What i would like to see is a "character development" genre. Love these series and they're so hard to find! What i mean is series like Hunter X Hunter and Naruto, were the characters keep developing and learning new skills / abilities. This would be a GREAT genre.

If we're going wiki, I think that such categories would be blatantly [[POV]] - if you want stuff like HxH and the big N, click on 'Shounen' right now.
I'm not going to respond to every tree I disagree with though (androids under sf seems fair to me), as I've said about a hundred times to nwa already, we need to get the leaves right first.

Tentacles could be from “plants”. If the tentacles are from the ground, the space, another dimension... how to describe it if you don't think it is a creature? It's a kind of monster, without head, without legs, without hands, without eyes, but it's still a creature. It's just not “humanoid”.

I can name quite a lot of animes where you can see only the tentacles and nothing else.

As for demons and angels, demons are usually shown as beasts and angels have a humanoid body. Chrno Crusade however, has demons in a humanoid form for example. So unless we create both, Creatures::Demons and People::Demons, which I am against of btw, I'm keeping it like that...
(I thought about Mystical Humanoids, but uh... went with People)

as for mystical vs mythical, for me, mythical = minotaurs, hydras, dragons and the like, I don't consider vampires or demons mythical, then again, vampires can be seen as mystical people, it's fucked up either way

You need to put Demons and Angels together, because Demons are just a kind of fallen Angels.
If you don't want to put Demons as "People", then just put Angels as "Creatures".

Change dummy link for javascript:

The dummy link for the javascripts that expands the the tree is now href="#" - and in most browsers this will leed to that the page is scrolled to the top, change this link to href="javascript:;" or href="javascript:void(0);"

You may also place the javascript in the href attribute directly like href="javascript:showcat('subcats75');" - but then you must remove the onClick part - both href and onClick can caus the function to be executed twice.

An other alternative can be to add a name like:
<a href="#subcats75" name="subcats75" onClick="showcat('subcats75');">+/-</a>

In this way the page will scroll to view the newly expanded part of the tree.

An other sulution can be to add "return false;" in the end of the function like:

Not exactly a common view in anime, or japanese mythology for that matter. Tactics, Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, et cetera -- the demon characters in those definitely aren't fallen angels.

And there are many anime were demons are just as humanlike as angels while there are many others were the deomns are just beasts.

so either place doesnt really matter as it wont fit perfectly.

I think description should be added quick because some are already a bit confusing and i could help decide the categories

And language should obviously be added only by peoples who actually understand japanese because subs are subs.

How would anime such as Meitantei Holmes or Night on the Galactic Railroad fit in those categories, though? I don't know -- something about 'half beast' doesn't seem quite right for that.

Calling them anthropomorphic animals is mainstream, so I suppose the category name should be based on that. ...but it's quite a mouthful. Should be shortened a bit. Characters::Animals::Anthropomorphic? Characters::Animals::Anthro? ...
Characters::Animals::Furries?

And I really do think that every sports anime should have a category of it's own.

But AFAIK, for each of them there's only one anime made.

If you don't want categories with only one anime, maybe you could do it like this:
