Use webaom for now. ;) I'm not willing to give a release date anymore, I wouldn't keep it. ;)

If ram or hdd space is a problem with aom... seriously just ask your parents for $50 and solve it... I just picked up a 1GB ram module for $35.

My boxes are a Fedora-CCRMA pro audio workstation with 2GB RAM and a Gentoo laptop with 1GB RAM. Memory's never a problem, but it always disquieted me that AOM likes a 100MB cache, and that was one of the three reasons why I wrote my own client. (The other two are that there was no native Mac/Linux client, and because I was bored.)
