already had it set as you said. It renamed everything to the Japanese title regardless for a bit, but the program closed or something and now it won't rename anything, even though it's set to. Grr.

well, i did test those two lines before i posted and it worked.

when you are playing with the rules, follow these steps:
- edit the rules
- press apply
- goto job list, right click a file, select 'Apply Rules'
now, if nothing happens check the debug tab. an exception will be printed if something went wrong when parsing the rules. also, a line '[10:47:16|011,75] pMenu: % New file: C:\anime\...' should be printed every time you do this.

" is not supported, you have to use ' or nothing
if(eng) do return %eng - %enr [%grp]%ver [%CRC]
is ok. the tags are case sensitive, but not the "control words"

err. what version do you use? in 1.18 you have to use 'if I(%eng)' and in 1.19 'if I(eng)'

1.18b is the latest version listed on the link I found for it. I'll try the other tag. I bet that'll fix it.

Weirdly enough, wouldn't work on one computer, but when I cranked it up on my fileserver, it works fine. I assume similar rules can be used with the Move one to make it move files to a folder created the way you want, IE "English Title (Japanese title)" ?
