Order Arrow in Known Files

Post by Hoerie »

I just noticed that the order arrow (triangle that indicates ascending/descending order of lists) is inverted in the Path list-thingy on the Known Files tab. In alphabetic order it points down, whereas elsewhere in AOM (& Windows in general) it would point up...

A downward arrow for ascending order makes perfect sense to me: I read it as the direction on the screen in which the entries ascend in that column's sorting order. The normal way frequently confuses me and I often have to sort twice because of it.

(Of course, this is probably just one of my peculiarities and they are probably only this way because of an oversight.)

Ah but both are used in AOM, to me it would make most sense to follow Windows I guess. But just sticking to one convention would be better than it is now...
