Is there any way I can watch these anime files?
What is AniDB? Is it just keeping the list of what one wathched? And what is AOM for? Is it the alternative of the site?
Or is it for sharing files between users? How can I watch the these files??

Aom does not allow you to share files between users or anything like that. It's mostly a tool to browse AniDB while offline and/or manage your mylist.
