You will do download the files again, but it worksbetter then ^^

Work needed kinda goes up, I don't want to fuck up this version. Current one "works", I don't want to post another that just "works". It should work excelently. ;)

Well that's pretty close... The last release was 5/24, so: it feels like Ive been waiting four months for the new client ;)

So, since the release is obviously been going through more extensive testing and has higher release standards, does that mean that it will be Beta (instead of Alpha)?

Question is: will it run on linux? :P

Yeah. I know it'll be wine compatible as far as you can make it, PetriW. Just boosting my post count. Don't worry about this. 8)

I predict he won't release it any sooner than in 2 weeks, and that's in the best possible scenario and that doesn't mean the client goes public, then it's testing aka QC time! :P

The release of 0.5.1.219 was on Fri Apr 16, 2004, that means that it has only been 187 days for a new version. Patience.

Now PetriW has admitted that the version that we have is buggy, but given all the extended testing period that 0.6, that must mean that we will end up with a version that is bug free.

True, the new client has features like support for other languages, generic files (at least they will be added to the DB when 0.6 is released), show length of files, ... That's not to mention, better memory handling, a more stable DB structure, ... But you don't really need those, just delete the files in your kowai directory and be happy.
