How would you (AabiDB webmaster/maintainers) feel about MythTV, a hombebrew PVR and more project adding the ability to lookup anime episodes and retrieve titles, descritptions, and tumbnails. MythTV has a simalar lookup for movies by looking up IMDb entries. I read somewhere that the current client uses MSXML, so I'm assuming that your data is stored as XML and parsed with php? Anyways most of the work would be done by the MythTV maintainers I'm sure. Im gonna say something similar on their mailing list and see what happens.

and FYI currently anidb does not support any XML based outputs and there is also no publicly available method to automatically extract information from anidb.
maybe you could go a bit more into detail about what you're planning to do and what exactly you'd need for that.
