Feels faster to just rar it up than make an installer that'll make people want to uninstall before upgrading (and thus prolly be forced to reboot their computer).

Haha, nonono. This is scriptable installers, you could write it to detect which version is installed, know which files to overwrite, a reboot after install is an option you have to put into the script.

If I consider 0.6 to be a stable enough release to be thrown into an installer I'll take a look at it.

what ist the proggi for?
i downloaded it, started it and it started to hash some files but dont ask me which kind of. and then i put an naruto file ,and then something started. srry but i`m german and dont understand so good english

It's a windows version of the anidb web interface.
It allows you to add files to your mylist by hashing them directly in the program.

How about windows ME/98 support? I'm sure it would greatly increase your users, at least by 1. Please?

Very unlikelly, win9x lack several functions I use. You should really upgrade to at least win2k, win2k/xp are simply so much better than win9x noone should use win9x.

I'd much rather encourage people to abandon win9x (which I consider an abomination).
