File renaming feature request

Post by molitar »

Ok I hate how I can't force the app to rename the files if already added. I tried one file renaming format and decided I didn't like it.. so now I have to manually go through and remove from known files over 100 directories so the stupid client will rename it.. meaning I have to wait a long time again for it to rehash what it already rehashed! And I have to manually look at which files are still on HD that was renamed from older files that are not renamed so I can't just start delete the entire known files.

Stupid.. rename should be able to be re-used without rehashing so one can test various patterns until we get it exactly the way we want.

It automatically renames all files in your known files list every hour. And if you restart it.

I'll add a "rename now" button for the next version though. :)
