AniDB

Is there any way you could add an option to dump the databases to a comma separated file (or just anything parseable)? I have my own local database (ODBC) and would very much like to be able to merge it with the adidb ones.

Or if you could let me know which database format you're using (I haven't had any luck trying to open the files), I could try to covert them myself.

AOM uses a custom encrypted storage format, this specifically so that it should not be easy to dump the data from AniDB.
If you want comma separated files you have to use the known files export feature within AOM or the mylist export feature in AniDB.
There are no "complete dumps" of AniDB available.
