Chobits and Angelic Layer

it says Angelic Layer is the sequal of Chobits, but as far as I know that is not exactly correct.
in Vl. 7 of the Chobits manga Hideki says that Angelic Layer was a hit until quite recently. In addition, throughout the Chobits manga and anime the creator of persocoms (Icchan^O^) is dead (recently died, they say) while he is pretty damn alive in Angelic Layer.
so, I believe it is more correct to say that Chobits is the continuation for Angelic Layer rather than the other way as you present it in the data bank.

I would suggest it be changed to "same setting" while timewise they are prequel and sequel, they only share the universe, there is no continuence of story line (not entirely sure about not sharing characters). The anime itself even never mentions it, only the manga does (and this is AnimeDB, right).
